/mo"Very old building with no elevator or dishwasher. Laundry in basement ($3.50 per run, yikes), no central ac. Parking in the back for $300/mo. Rent is going up by roughly $100 for the new lease. It is expensive for what it is, but for the price and location it’s better than being closer to downtown Boston. Is a beautiful but very old unit. "

/mo"Landlord is usually responsive to problems. Building is very old, hot water takes several minutes to actually get hot, wooden floors are ancient. The kitchen doesn’t have cabinets or counters, literally just a freestanding stove/oven and a sink, so we had to buy our own prep tables and storage shelves. Extremely overpriced in my opinion but that’s pretty standard for renting anywhere in Boston. Rent usually goes up $100-200 a year for the unit."
